At last, the year and the day have arrived!
We are getting married on Saturday, September 5, and we invite friends and family to an unforgettable weekend in Ålesund and at Øverås.

We are true to our roots, and have therefore chosen to split the celebration. The first part will take place in Ålesund, while most of the weekend will be spent in Vestnes. We are truly excited to show you what both places have to offer.
​
Since we are both more than average when it comes to loving to plan parties — and, not least, to attend them — our wedding weekend could be nothing less than something truly special. That is exactly why we have chosen to invite you to a three-day celebration.

The Wedding Weekend
Friday, September 4th

Welcome Party
Vardehuset, Ålesund
​
We invite you to a welcome party the day before the big day. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet some of the other guests and warm up for the wedding celebration. There will be light food, snacks, and drinks.

The ceremony will be followed by a cocktail hour and wedding celebration. There will be served a buffet style dinner and drinks.

Disc Golf Tournament
Øverås Disc Golf Park
​
We’ll round off the weekend with a disc golf tournament at Øverås Disc Golf Park. Bring out your competitive spirit and some sporty clothes! We encourage sporty 90s-inspired outfits!

Accommodation
Below you will find useful information about accommodation for the entire wedding weekend. We recommend staying in Ålesund from Friday to Saturday and in Vestnes from Saturday to Sunday, and we have secured special rates for all guests at selected hotels on these dates. Of course, you are free to choose accommodation according to your own preferences.
Quality Hotel
Waterfront
Quality Hotel Waterfront is a family and conference hotel located in the heart of Ålesund, with views of the fjord and mountains. The bride’s mother, Aina, has arranged special rates for visiting guests.

If you are traveling without a car, a bus will be arranged from Waterfront to Vestnes Fjord Hotel before the ceremony on Saturday. More information can be found under the transportation section.
Vestnes Fjordhotell
Vestnes Fjord Hotel (Vestnes Fjord Hotel) is located in the center of Vestnes and offers rooms with mountain and fjord views. A bus will run from the hotel to the ceremony and the wedding celebration. There will also be a shuttle back to the hotel after the reception.

The hotel has 50 rooms, including single and double rooms. To ensure that everyone has suitable accommodation, we kindly ask that you book a single or double room according to your needs.

Transport
Friday
On Friday Sept 4th, guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from Vardehuset. Please refer to the map below for information about public transportation.
Saturday
We will provide transportation to and from the ceremony and the wedding celebration on Saturday Sept 5th. Below, you will find information on where and when the transportation will run, so you can plan according to your needs.​
Shuttle
4:00 PM: Bus from Vestnes Church to the reception venue. The bus will run two trips if needed.
12:30 AM: Shuttle service begins, running every 30 minutes between The reception venue and Vestnes Fjord Hotel.
4:00 AM: Last shuttle from the reception venue to Vestnes Fjord Hotel.

Returning to Ålesund?
We recommend that guests stay overnight in Vestnes from Saturday to Sunday. If you would still prefer to return to Ålesund after the wedding celebration, please state so during your RSVP.
